Licensing of migRaven
License model: migRaven software licenses are offered as a subscription, ie a time-limited right of use is granted. The subscription includes updates, upgrades and support during our business hours (Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to 18 p.m.), which is not limited in scope.
Modules: The migRaven Analyzer can be licensed individually, the Data Retention and Folder Self Service modules can only be licensed in combination with the migRaven Analyzer. Data Retention and Folder Self Service can either be licensed individually or together; if a module is subsequently licensed, the subscription is adjusted. Re-licensing is possible at any time. The Neo4j graph database required for operation is supplied and included in the subscription. For clarification, here are all combinations of modules:
Analyzer
Analyzer + Access Manager (Folder Self Service + permission management)
Analyzer + Data Retention explained
Analyzer + Access Manager + Data Retention explained
Contract period: The subscription period is 12 months and is automatically extended if it is not canceled at least 6 weeks before it expires. You will automatically receive an invoice in the event that the subscription fails
was dismissed.
Determination of the number of users: The basis for licensing are the relevant user accounts (users logged in within the last 90 days) in the Active Directory. Please use the following script for the calculation:

migRaven automatically checks the current number of users during the term of the subscription. In the event that the number of users increases during the term, a subsequent license must be obtained. Subsequent licensing does not lead to an extension of the subscription, only the invoice amount changes. If the number of users increases, the following should be noted: At least 5% will be added to the original number of users, ie if 100 users were calculated, at least 105 users must be licensed. If the number of new users is odd, it will be rounded up to the next full user.
