Large international building materials group (2020)

Project:

1700 users and their data are to be transferred from 24 locations to a shared data center. The data sets should and access permissions be consolidated. In the future, authorizations will be set largely automatically using an IAM system. The project duration was 16 months.

  • Consolidate domains

  • Each location has its own file storage
  • User accounts exist twice in domains
  • High inventory of legacy data
  • No unified human resources management system
  • No processes for on-/offboarding, change of personnel

Solution:
